Silver Surfer, l'ex Araldo di Galactus introdotto da Stan Lee e Jack Kirby su Fantastic Four #48.
Diciamo che è da poco che mi sto interessando al personaggio (prima lo conoscevo superficialmente, l'ho visto solo su alcune immagini). Da quando ho letto la sua miniserie (o meglio, una parte) legata all'evento cosmico Marvel "Annihilation", ho cominciato a interessarmi al Surfista d'Argento. Ho letto la vecchia saga di Lee e Kirby su Fantastic Four, ho dato qualche occhiata ai lavori di John Buscema e al Surfer di Moebius. E alla fine sono arrivato a questo. La mia prima intenzione era quella di ritrarre il personaggio a la Jack Kirby, che considero la migliore. Però, durante l'inchiostrazione e la stesura del colore mi sono accorto di aver fatto una cosa sul mio stile, come al solito. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. To help support the Literature community we hold regular contests. It is an opportunity for you to get involved and gain some exposure. Contest winners will be featured in a news article and a journal entry--as well as other fabulous prizes.
